Harry Potter And The Sorcerers Stone By J.K. Rowling

Genre: Fiction

Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brief Description:
?‍♀️ Enter the world of wizardry and magic, at Hogwarts school. This is the first series of 7 books that takes you on an enchanting journey about Harry Potter, the boy who lived.
?‍♀️ Harry Potter’s ordinary life takes an unexpected turn when he learns that his parents were wizards and goes to Wizard school himself.
?‍♀️ He becomes close friends with Ronald Weasley and Hermoine Granger and together they encounter dangers and help save the school and the world from Lord Voldemort.

My Favourite Part:
? One part I really enjoyed is when Harry finds the Mirror of Erised (desire spelled backwards) and sees his parents with him for the first time.
? Harry’s parents were murdered by Lord Voldemort, the antagonist in the series and his deepest desire is to see and be with family.
? JK Rowling has a way of really making the reader feel all the emotions the main characters are experiencing.

What I Learnt:
? This is the first book of Harry Potter’s journey and it opens a whole new world that I never could ever have imagined.
? The author JK Rowling makes up entire languages, new games, and ties everything together.
? My mom loved the book and I can see how this is still one of the  most popular book series for kids and teens today.
? I admire the author for being able to create a world that all of us wish we were part of.

I recommend this book for anyone who loves fantasy, adventures, friendship and just being a kid. Harry and his friends all are heroes and the manner in which the book is written, anyone can imagine themselves in this world. This version has the pictures illustrated as well so it was more fun to read!
