Today is the birth anniversary of Singapore’s first Prime Minister – Mr. Lee Kwan Yew. Let us take a moment to honour, cherish and remember the ‘Founding Father’ of Singapore.

?? Mr. Lee Kwan Yew fondly known as LKY became Prime Minister when he was only 35 years old and governed Singapore for three decades (1959 -1990).
?? He practiced law before he became the Prime Minister.

?? He learnt Mandarin and Hokkien in his thirties.
?? To encourage kids to learn two languages at a young age, he donated 10 million dollars to the Lee Kuan Yew Fund of Bilingualism.
